I first posted the following on a website discussing a process which was being promoted at the Universtity of Alabama/Huntsville campus in reply to a liberal poster who was making an effort at disparaging a fellow poster.  I post here as part of my continuing effort in getting schools returned to local control and responsible teaching.

Ivan likely does not understand the "stream of consciousness" writing when you sit at your typewriter or computer and write without editing as you go, and since he is so clever, intelligent and witty, he reads what you post, and since he cannot comprehend what you say, or does comprehend what you say, instead of commenting on "what you say", he attacks you for an apostrophe which is misplaced, and then further attempts to disparage the south, as if that is an implication of your ignorance.  (Ivan, how do you like this run on sentence that takes you to a conclusion that you probably don't like?)

This method of attack is the only defense and attack that the Liberal Mindset can come up with.  Attack the messenger instead of hearing the message.  Liberalism, after all, is a mental disorder.

When somebody is trying to attack your message, they personalize their argument and attack your intelligence or level of learning, as they have no valid argument to debunk your message or to defend their own faulty conclusions.

In the classroom, as a teacher, I employ a behavioral method that is called planned ignoring. With this model, you purposely ignore a student who is forever seeking attention.  As you ignore the attention-seeking student, the attention seeking behaviors will lessen in intensity, longevity, and in frequency of occurrences, with the longterm goal of extinguishing inappropriate attention-seeking behaviors, and the student will eventually only expect attention when attention is acutally needed.

On this website and others, I generally totally ignore attention seekers who come to a site where an intelligent debate is occurring and try to distract with inane comments about "apostrophes" or the lack there of.  In this case, I decided to call Ivan to task, lest he go away thinking himself clever.

Also, Ivan, we in the "deep souf" and those of us who consider ourselves "suthen" (Ivan's clever spelling for emphasis.) do not suffer fools lightly. And, your attempt at degrading the south and southern people generally, is a testament to the level of brainwashing and ignorance that you posess, which has lead to your own inflated ego and arrogance.  The south has in the past and continues in the present to produce more scholars than any other part of the country, and there are other things that the south has always produced far and away more than anyother part of the country, and that is people of honor, integrity, respect, work ethics, patriotism, love of God and family, gratitude, and graciousness. There is a reason folks from all over the globe who visit The South go away and talk genuinely about "Southern Hospitality."  This is something that has been part of the southern culture since our earliest days, and it lives on today, and is in the hearts and minds of southerners.  So, Ivan, before you begin slamming somebody for a misplaced "apostrophe", why don't you examine your own prejudices and irrational beliefs which you hold due to your own Level of Ignorance that is due to the Brainwashing and Dumbing Down That You Have Received in your liberal education?

Oh, and by the way Liz, I went to Goldwell's Psychic Programming Website and read the introduction.  What he is selling is snake oil, and I am sure that in his own deluded mind, he believes that what he is selling is some sort of miracle cure for addictions, etc.  But, in reality, there is no miracle cure for the negative brainwashing that all of us, to some degree, possess.

While part of his premise is factual, and that is that whatever we believe to be true and real in our minds (becomes our reality), based on our own irrational and dysfunctional beliefs, that our subconscious mind has no choice except to do what you have programmed it to do.

For example, if a person goes through life saying things to themselves and may have been told by others, things that are negative, those things will become that person's reality, and the subconscious mind will create whatever it is that you have come to believe about yourself.  For example, I know a lady who I have known my whole life, and ever since I first knew her, she has said things to herself like, "I am so clumsy.  I am a Klutz, etc."  And, almost everytime I see her now, she has on a cast for a broken ankle, a broken arm, a broken rib, etc.  She has programmed herself for so long that she is clumsy and accident prone that her subconscious mind creates what she believes about herself.  I have often suggested to her that instead of continuing to tell herself all these negative things which are creating all the broken bones, that she simply stop telling herself these negative things, and in the meantime, to Consciously Focus and Pay Attention To What She Is Doing.  I asked her to begin to pay attention to "wet floor" signs and take precautions and watch her step and that she would likely not fall and break a hip or ankle.  When you examine any so-called accident, you will generally find that it was not an "accident", but was a momentary lapse of reason and not paying attention to what you were doing.

At any rate, we do have faulty and irrational or dysfucntional belief systems that we have been programmed to believe about ourselves and about others, and in order to de-program ourselves, we have to make a conscious effort to stop the negative self-talk that goes on in our mental chatter almost incessantly. With a conscious effort, we re-program ourselves, and there is no miracle cure or shortcut to this that these subliminal imaging or subliminal sounds are going to do for you.  If these things actually worked, you would not have to advertise or promote it, people would be beating down the doors to get their hands on "The Cure."  There is no easier, softer way.  Anything worth having requires some effort.  And, as Frederick Douglass stated in the 1800's, "It is easier to build sound children, than to repair broken men."  What we are doing and have done in the past 40 years or so through the public education system and hollywood is to destroy many young minds that now need repair as adults, as they have been programmed negatively and dumbed down by the very process which was supposed to have been building them up.  It is time to turn this trend around and turn it around now, in the elementary, middle and high schools. And, every trace of Snake Oil needs to be removed from public education, and return children and teaching to basics of building strong children who possess good academic skills and positive programming and end the brainwashing and dumbing down that is currently taking place. You learn academic skills by practicing academic skills.  Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic are learned from Practice.  Respect, Responsibility and Work Ethics are learned the same way.  As Einstein said so succinctly, "All true knowledge is experience, and all else is just information." This is not to say that we do not need information, we of course do, but it is what you do with that information that gives you true knowledge, the experience.  And, sadly, much of The Information that children are receiving today is Mis-Information, Lies, Distortions and Other Negative Programming.
This trend must be reversed if we are again to begin to re-build America by Building Strong and Stable Childen who grow up to be stable, happy, and productive adults who seek to become the best that they can be.  These values used to be the product of public schools in the USA before the Nationalizing Of Education began to take place beginning in the mid-1960's.  Since that time, educational standards and outcomes have continued to decline. And the decline has been a direct correlation with the amount of federal interventions (Socialism) and the amount of Snake Oil that the Feds Have Pushed(Standardized Testing, Gimmicks, Computers, and other gadgets) that have taken precedence over the basics of Paper, Pencils, Books, good teachers with good skills and knowledge and Brainpower.  Seldom do any of our children these days actually self-actualize, which means that he or she achieves based on his or her own natural tratits, abilities, aptitudes, interests, and intellect because all these things are ignored in the cookie cutter brainwashing and dumbing down model that now exists in public education  USA  and this System Was Put Into Place and Implemented at the Direction of the U.S. Department of Education, Teacher Unions, and the Snake Oil Salesmen who have Pushed Their Particular Brand and Type of Snake Oil through lobbying, bribery, and other efforts.

No snake oil can replace good old fashioned hard work and effort.  These are things that Snake Oil Salesmen tell you that you do not need. All you need to do is Buy My Snake Oil.  It is cheap and pain free.  Like the old saying goes, "No Pain--No Gain."  You have to put some effort into learning, and as a teacher, you have to put some effort into teaching, but the effort is worth it, if your aim is to build sound and strong children who grow up to become all that they are capable of becoming.  If we continue to destroy our children at the rate that we are now destroying them, we will not survive as a free and sovereign nation.  Ignorant, illiterate brainwashed citizens become slaves dependent on their masters. Our government has become the master of millions who now look to government for their subsistence because of their inability to take care of themselves.  Teaching dependency destroys the human spirit and potential.  A human mind is a terrible thing to waste, and it is time to stop the destruction of our children which is being done systematically through the public education system that is bringing up children who have heads full of irrational and dysfunctional beliefs which they believe to be true and real, and in their subconscious minds, they carry out what they have been programmed to be true and real. They have no choice.  Your subconscious mind only does what it has been programmed to do and believe.  If you believe you are a Klutz, and refuse to Change Your Mind About This and Stop Telling Yourself that, then get used to the Broken Bones and Casts.  You may not be happy, but you will Be Right.  Your subconscious mind would rather be Right Than Happy.  How about your Conscious Mind?? Would You Rather Be Happy or Right?  Me, I choose Happy.  So, Change Your Thoughts and You Will Change How You Feel and you will have better outcomes.  Stop beating yourself up mentally.  Reprogram your negative self-talk with conscious effort and thought, and you will be amazed at how soon you begin to feel better. What you think about leads to how you feel and how you feel leads to attitudes and behaviors.  Pay attention to your thoughts, and make corrections when they are negative.  It is just like the accident analogy.  If you heed Slippery Floor Signs, you re less likely to slip on slippery floors!!! Change your thoughts and change your life. You and only you have the power to change your mind and there is no Miracle Cure or Snake Oil Shortuct to achieving this.  And, best of all, is that when you make a conscious decision to change your mind, it costs you nothing.  I have not seen anybody who sells Snake Oil, offering their Miracle Cure for Free.  All advertising is negative in nature and is designed to create self doubt about yourself. In short, advertising attacks your sense of self.  Advertising is brainwashing. Advertisers tell you that you are Powerless to do something by yourself. It targets your self concept.  You are not pretty enough, sexy enough, don't smell good enough, etc., but "If you Buy Our Product, You Will Be Prettier, Sexier, Smell Better, Get More Girls, Get More Boys, Be Smarter, Be More Productive, etc."  Advertisers invented Subliminal Messaging as a way to Sell Products.  Advertisers used Negative Imaging and Sound Messages to Tear You Down in order to Sell You a Product that You Do Not Need.  This Snake Oil Business is as old as advertising itself.  Do not be fooled by fools. Think for yourself.  You will be amazed how quickly you regain control of your mind and your life.  Jerome Ennis, MAed

p.s. to Ivan---I have not edited this, so feel free to do so, if that gives you a sense of superiority, which, if you examine yourself, you will find that it is due to your own irrational and dysfunctional belief system that gives you this False Sense of Yourself.  It is called delusional thinking. That is a serious mental disorder, but is treatable by You Yourself, if you just decide to open your mind and listen.  As Socrates so succinctly stated: "The unexamined life is not worth living." 

The problems with John Murtha are too numerous to mention, but the problems are not unique to Murtha.  The problems in Washington D.C. is the way they do business.

There is no longer a representative form of government operating in the USA.  What has happened in Washington D.C. is that we have allowed now, for far too long, a group of elected officials to create so many laws, rules, regulations, departments, agencies, bureaus and commissions based on special interests of individual groups, individual corporations, and individual political aims of a few, loud and vociferous group of meddlers.

And, the congress of the United States, instead of being representative of the nation as a whole, they have become representative of those who pay them the most money through lobbyists and to those who contribute millions to their campaign coffers in getting elected, and by those they appease and groom into becoming voting blocs, with no concern for costs or outcomes of their legislative decisions.

And, the bureaucracy itself, consistig of all the regulatory and other agencies, departments, commissions, and bureaus has become their own self-perpetuating empires that have lost all sight of what they were created for to begin with.  Feeding and servicing this out of control bureaucracy has become too costly, even if any of the agencies, departments, etc. were doing any good at all, they are too big and too costly to service.  But, unfortunately, there is not even one federal agency, department, commission or bureau that does any good at all, and in fact, most of the problems these agencies, etc. were formed to solve have always became worse, as the agency, dept., etc. became more interested in it's own Size, Power, and Growth to Empire Status. And, to insure it's own existence and continued funding for growth, these agencies, etc. are forever finding "New Victims" to serve by "Creating New Victims" to serve, or "Find New Problems" to solve By "Creating New Problems" to solve, thus causing more problems. 

And, this band has played on now to the point that we now resemble the old USSR, which had become a Totalitarian Federal Bureaucracy which existed for it's own sake, and in order to Service The Bureaucracy, the State Became More and More Fascistic and Totalitarian that it had to Force It's Citizens At Gunpoint to support and fund it, and to keep it's citizens from Revolting Against it.

If we continue down this Bureaucratic Machine Empire Status Building, the United States of America is soon to Become a Democracy Held At Bay by Gun Point.  If you examine all the so-called Progressive Legislation being proposed by this Current Congress and President, you will see that it is aimed at Ending All Vestiges of a Free And Sovereign Republic.  Gun Banning Legislation, Cap and Tax, Socialized Medicine, Taxing Of Every Commodity you use, controlling everything you eat, etc. 

Wake Up America.

We must Downsize the Size, Power, Spending and Control of the United Soviet States of America that now exists in Washington D.C. and coming soon to every state in the union, as more and more states become Socialistic Dictatorships such as California, New York, Wisconsin, Illinois, Washington, Oregon and others.

And, coming to your own state soon, as the local, and state governments more and more mimic the Washington D.C. bureaucracy as the D.C. bureaucracy puts more and more mandates on local and state governments by blackmail.  The feds tell states what to do by saying, "If you do not do this or that, we will withhold federal funding to your state for roads, infrastructue, etc. if you do not adopt our Suggestions."  The Federal Bureaucrats now believe that they, the government has it's own money and funding. They forget that it is, We The People, who send our Tax Dollars to them, and that It Is Our Money, not theirs.  We must reverse this trend, or all is lost.

Wake Up America. Let's take our country back, one community, one city, one county, one state at a time.  Most all power of the government is supposed to be at the Local and State Levels of Government, but we have now allowed this federal Dictatorships to Dictate by Blackmail.  Enough is enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Liberal Methodology has always been a theme of "We are doing it for the children, the poor, the underdog, etc."  The Liberals always find ways to "tug at heart strings" so that if you oppose what they are doing, they can say, "You do not care about the children, the poor, etc."

It is time for Regular Folks to Wake Up and realize that all Liberal Policies are aimed at one thing and one thing only---Power and the Expansion of the Power, Size, Expenditures and Control of Big Government which Translates: "Socialism/Communism or whatever other Ism you want to use such as Progressivism."  And, they do it by making it sound innocent, innocuous, and painless, and if you dare oppose them, they try and make their critics look like mean-spirited people.

The bottom line what Obama and this congress are proposing is an Ever-Growing and Expansion of Power, Size, Expenditures of Government Management of every aspect of people's lives, and they are using "The Children and Poor as Props."

The following quoted from this article is indicative of Obama and the Move toward Totalitarian State Control:

"It's part of the Obama administration's self-proclaimed "cradle-to-career" agenda for America's youth."

In other words, they want to take your children from the time "they are born and control and manage their lives through adulthood to insure that they all learn how to be dependent on Big Daddy and Mommy government."

These so-called liberals are very dangerous individuals when they gain power.  Part of Obama's official platform intitiative concerning education is the plan to "have mandatory attendance in state-run pre-schools all the way down to age 2 years old."  These Communists do not want to "Leave Any Children Behind That Have Not Been Dumbed Down and Brainwashed Into Becoming Good Little State-Leader-Worshipping Little Communist Robots."

Wake up America, take back your Pride, Power, Dignity, Self Respect and most of all, Take Your Children and Their Schools Back from the Totalitarian State.

MLK was a Re-Distributionist who believed that Americans should have equal outcomes without equal effort.  MLK was a dupe of the communists who make inflammatory remarks to large audiences in opposition to the Vietnam War, and was an Ally, either by design or mis-adventure, with our enemies, the Communists.

MLK believed that poverty should be ended by re-distribution of wealth. The same sorts of nonsense that has been used by Utopian Communists throughout history.

This sort of nonsense infected our government, thus the Community Reinvestment Act of that idiot, Jimmy Carter, which allowed the Financial Meltdown that we just experienced in 2007, 08, 09, and now.  Over 30 years of making loans based on "I have a dream" and giving loans to deadbeats who didn't even work, because some government hacks believed that "everybody should have equal outcomes without the requisite hard work and paying of dues."

Following WWII, many poor people were beginning to work their way up the social ladder as wages improved and by hard work, more and more Americans were able to buy homes, but they had to work and pay for them.

MLK wanted to make this "American Dream" for all, regardless of work and effort to attain it.  He wanted it Freely Given to the "poor" just because they were poor and could not afford it.  What Mr. King was not noticing was that there were many Prosperous Blacks who were living the American Dream. Blacks who owned their own homes, businesses and farms were to be found all over this nation.  The places that Poverty and Poor Living Conditions mostly existed were in Socialist Democrat Run Cities that were corrupt such as Chicago, New York, Newark, Philadelphia, Oakland, etc.  In the rural south and in small towns all over America, blacks were living the American Dream, and all over the South and other small thowsn and communities, black schools had good and competent teachers and black kids learned good academic skills, work ethics, civic responsibility, family values, etc.

And, in small towns and communities all over this nation, blacks and whites got along and did not hate one another.

Separate but equal schools were all good schools, and the integration of same would have taken place with or without federal intervention, and it would have taken place peacefully, and the entire education system would not have been destroyed in the process.

The way that the mind works is that "it believes what you tell it to believe" and the more you repeat the same thing over and over, the mind then creates what you have told it as "Reality" whether what you programmed it to believe is "True" or "False".

And, once the mind believes and creates a Reality, it becomes True and Real to the Mind and the Person possessing that mind. And, it does not matter if that "Reality" is based on Truthful Information or a Bald Faced Lie or Disinformation.  And, it does not matter whether the "Teacher meant well, and was just ignorant when they taught the Dis-Information or Lie, or whether the Teacher purposely deceived and mistaught as a way of Distorting the Truth to get the Students to Learn a Falsehood, which would make them Make Poor or Bad Decisions."

A concrete exammple of this is:  Suppose that you had a grade school teacher who taught you a basic fact such as 2 + 2 + 5.  And, then every other Mathematical Conclusion you came up with Would Also Be False and Off The Mark, and the higher and higher you go in math with this Error, exponentially, the Mathematical Outcomes would be Far Worse and Bigger.  And, it does not matter if that Teacher Purposely Taught you A Lie in order to screw you up, or if that teacher was just ignorant him/herself, you still have a faulty reality in your mind.

And, as long as you hang on to that Faulty Reality, you will continue to be dysfunctional in math because you have a faulty and irrational belief.  So, to correct the Mathematical Problem, you have to Re-Teach the Mind and Convince it that 2 + 2 = 4.  And, you re-train the mind by shaking it loose from the faulty reality, and then be repetition convincing the mind that 2 + 2 = 4; 2 + 2 = 4, etc. etc.

The big lies promulgated by teachers, the media and politicians for decades has been repeated over and over concerning Dr. MLK and the Civil Rights Movement generally.  Glorious "I have a dream speeches" have been repeated over and over and anybody who does not choke up and feel guilty or shameful if they debunk it, are called racists or mis-informed.  The "I have a dream speech" becomes the sum total of who and what MLK and the Civil Rights Movement was in The American Psyche or Collective Mind.  This Reality is faulty and irrational and those who who hold to this Irrational Belief will continue to be mis-lead and make faulty decisions and assumptions based on that Big Lie that has been Programmed Into Their Minds.

And, when you try and shake someone away from a faulty reality which that have believed and clung to for so long, you get fierce resistance, because the mind wants to be Right, and to negate that Reality would be to say, "I have been wrong all this time."  But, once you are able to shake the mind from a faulty belief and reality that is based on a False Premise, then the mind becomes Rational and Clear and then all future decisions have better outcomes because then your decisions are based on Truths and Facts and not on Faulty or False Assumptions or out and out Lies.  You have to fix the 2 + 2 = 5 Fallacy before Any Improvment is made in Math.  The same goes for Historical Information.

MLK Dream Speech was inspiring, but it does not sum up all the Realities and Facts about Dr. MLK.  MLK was a lot of other things.  MLK was a Womanizer and some would say WhoreMonger.  MLK was a Subversive who taught Peaceful Resistance, while at the same time Inciting Rage which is what his true motive was.  MLK tried to distance himself from the more openly Radical Movements such as the Black Panthers, Black Muslims lead by Elijah Mohammed and others, but his Message was the Same as those Other Radicals.  But, MLK was a clever subversive so he knew he had to Pose as a Baptist Minister because Christianity is the Predominant Religion that was accepted in the USA and this way, MLK played and preyed on the conscious of Good Christians.  Yet, he was a liar.  He was not a Good Christian.  Good Christians were not Liars. Good Christians were not Serial Adulterers.  Good Christians did not Live Secret Lives.  Good Christians did not Deceive People.  Good Christians were not Communists and Subversive.  Good Christians in the USA did not Hate The USA.

MLK was a revolutionary who posed as a Peaceful, Non-Violent Revolutionary, while at the same time Creating Chaos and Riots every place he went.  He was a Clever Hustler and Communist.

MLK has to be De-Bunked, but everybody is afraid if they try and Expose The Truth about MLK, that they will be called Racist.

See, the Repetition of the Big Lies about MLK and the Repetition of "I Have A Dream" Speeches have implanted a Faulty Reality and Dysfunctional and Irrational Belief into the American Psyche or Collective Mind.  And, to top it off, they even made a Holiday honoring this very dishonorable and subversive liar and hypocrite.

It is time to Tell The Truth about MLK and other hoaxes that have been Implanted into the American Psyche.   2 + 2 = 4, no matter what those teachers taught you, and it does not matter if those teachers meant well but were ignorant or if those teachers purposely mislead you because they want to screw you up when they taught you that 2 + 2 = 5.  The outcome is the same. You have a faulty reality and until you fix that Fault, you will get further and further from the correct answer in all math calculations.  We are way off track with the Faulty Assumptions about MLK, and it all started with only telling the "I have a dream speech" while Omitting the Rest of the Story that gives you a clear and accurate history of who and what MLK truly was, and who were the people behind the scenes funding and promoting MLK???

There are things that a person knows because he or she has learned. There are things that we do not know, but could learn if we were to have the interest, intellect and desire to learn it.  All the things that we can learn are in the realm of knowledge that can be learned and understood, and thereby, Knowable to humans.

And, then there are those things in the realm of the "unknowable".  Those would be things such as the creation of the earth, mankind, and the universe generally.

Scientists have "theories such as a big bang, etc."  Religions throughout history have had "creation stories" that they use as an explanation of how it all began.

The Scientists are no closer to knowing "unknowables" than are the various religions.

A fool is somebody of science or religion who professes to know Absolutely how it all began.

It is fair for a scientist to say, "I have an idea or a theory, but I don't know anything that I can call a certainty or absolute."  It is fair for a religious person to say, "I have a belief and faith, but I don't know anything that I can call a certainty or absolute.  I have a faith and belief."

But, it is pretty well documented that people who have a religious faith and belief generally act more morally and act in the best interest of others and of society as a whole.

An, it is also pretty well documented that people who have no faith, and in fact, deny the existence of God and Have No Tolerance for Religion or Religious Practices, tend to become Absolute Totalitarian States that will Crucify and Destroy anybody who expresses their religious or other moral beliefs if they go astray with Official Totalitarian State Policies, Rules, and laws. And, therefore, it is known and is historically correct that Atheistic Governments such as Totalitarian Communism is responsible of Mass Genocide.

So, ask yourself you atheists?  Would you rather live in a nation that has Religious Beliefs and allows the Practice of Religion, or would you rather live in a Totalitarian Communist and Atheist State?  For, even if you protest the government on any grounds or right or wrong in an Atheist State, you will lose your freedom or your life if you dare protest.

HOW WE HAVE BEEN PROGRAMMED INTO BELIEVING THE THINGS WE BELIEVE THAT HAS LEAD TO THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE

NANNY  STATE!?!?!?

While sitting here this morning, Monday, 25 January 25, 2010, and listening to the Fox news channel, they are interviewing an “expert” discussing child and teen cholesterol levels.  The “experts” say that according to recent research, more and more children and teens are overweight, have high cholesterol, limpid levels, etc.

First, you have to ask, “who are the folks doing these studies, and why?”  And then, you have to ask, “who funds these studies?”  Well, first of all the folks who are doing the studies are usually a group of meddlers who spend all their time involved in other people’s business and are people who think that they know best what everybody needs and they believe that most people are not smart enough or responsible enough to tend to themselves or to think for themselves.  Some of these folks are known as Bleeding Heart Liberals or Do Gooders.  And, why do they do the studies?  They think that with their findings, they can convince Government to Legislate Cholesterol Levels, and the things that might cause it.  And, who funds these studies?  Usually the Tax Payers. (Note: Take Away the Government Grants and then see how many of these “so-called experts” will still do the research?) The Do-Gooder Meddlers lobby congress and congress in knee-jerk fashion jump on the bandwagon and allocate Tax Dollars in the form of Grants to these Meddlers who then get paid handsomely for doing nothing but meddling and coming up with nonsensical research findings, and then Congress comes along and begins to Legislate and Regulate what you eat, fine you if you do not follow their dictates, and of course, in the meantime, nothing changes except your taxes go up, regulations and restrictions on your freedoms to choose what you eat go up, the research groups get to continue to live off the taxpayers, further increasing taxes, and more and more freedoms are eroded. And, in the meantime, the TV, Print and Radio ads continue to bombard people with their Propaganda and Brainwash readers and listeners and create paranoia in the general public as people are Programmed by the Programs they Watch and Listen to.  And, none of this research, reporting on the research, and the legislation, regulation and taxation ever improves the situation, and in fact makes things worse, as they further brainwash the citizenry into becoming a bunch of mindless, non-thinking robots who have paranoia which is a far worse condition than High Cholesterol levels.  Whatever people come to believe to be true and real in their minds becomes their reality, whether the things they believe is factual or false.  The TV producers and Advertisers know this, and that is why they bombard us with messages day in and day out that tell us that we need to fear this or fear that, thereby creating a sense of fear and paranoia in it’s watchers, and this leads them to believing that they cannot take care of themselves and this leads to the Government Take Over of another Freedom and Choice you have as a citizen.  They then Regulate French Fries, and any thing else you might choose to eat. Then, they tax you higher to pay for the regulations, etc. And, the Nanny State Grows and Grows and people, like sheep, sit back and allow it to happen as they become Mindless Robots who look to TV and Government to Tell Them Everything to Do and Not Do, and they wind up becoming Slaves to The Nanny State and do not even realize how they have been Brainwashed and they, in fact, consider themselves to Be In The Know, because they Believe the Latest Opinion Poll that was Announced to them By The TV ads, News, etc. and of course “an expert” told them so.

And, in actuality, kids would have lower cholesterol levels if they just got out and Run and Play, Climb Trees, etc. and other Natural and Normal things that kids should be doing.  Instead, these same nanny state meddlers are telling parents, teachers and kids that they should not Run and Play or Compete as they might get hurt.  In short, they start Brainwashing and Dumbing the Kids down and turning them into mindless paranoid little children who become afraid of everything because it might hurt you.

It is time to take your children back from the nanny state, and the place to start is for a parent to assume responsibility for their child’s mental, physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual health, and turn off their TV’s, Computers, cell phones and Ipods.  Send them outside to play, and let them skin their knees, get a bruise, and learn from their mistakes and begin to increase in wisdom and knowledge.  Most kids have the mental and physical problems they now have in large part to the Meddling By Government Who Cater to Do Gooders and Meddlers who receive Tax Payer Money to Do idiotic Research which then becomes the fodder for Socialist, Do-Gooder Legislators who pass laws, regulations, restrictions, etc. and then of course, Raise Taxes to Pay for their Regulations and Agencies that Enforce the Legislation. And, the Socialist Meddling Do Gooders Band Plays on and the Sheep Follow along like mindless robots because they have Been Dumbed Down and Brainwashed.   This must stop.  Parents, take your kids back, and let them grow up naturally and normally.  Natural and Normal for a child is to be playing, without things to worry about such as High Cholesterol and being Over Weight.  Cholesterol and Over Weight problems will take care of themselves if you allow and require your child to run and play and develop normally and naturally.  If you love your children, turn off the Brainwashing TV’s, and do not expose them to the propaganda that leads them to being paranoid little robots who believe that they are well-informed. Send them out to play and let them learn from living.  Running and playing will burn up the stuff that causes cholesterol and obesity, and of course, they will eat and sleep better as they burn up calories and will have a good appetite, and when they are tired, they sleep better, and of course running and playing develops muscles, balance, and dexterity and it is fun and this makes your child happy, which is a natural and normal state of being.  A child is a terrible thing to waste.  Let your child be a child, and then when he or she grows up, they will be able to think for themselves without the brainwashing that leads them to grow up to be mindless robots who become accepting of the Nanny State that tells them every move to make, and then regulates and taxes them and makes them pay for their own demise.

I know what you mean about Washington State.  Seattle, a hotbed of crime, corruption, socialism and of course, a Liberal Democrat Regime is the model for Large Metro Ares.

Corrupt Democrat Machine Politics proved to be the Key to Permanent Power in Chicago, New York City, Philadelphia, Detroit, Los Angeles, Boston and other cespools of Crime, Disease, Subversion and Perversion in the USA.  Over time, these Over-Populated Cities gained too many Representatives to the U.S. Congress, and to State Governments, and eventually, a Minority of Metro Cities has been able to Corrupt the Entire Federal Process while destroying their own states at the same time.

In all large Democrat-Corrupt Cities, they have about 40 percent of the poplulation who are totally dependent on Welfare in one form or another, and thus a Permanent Voting Bloc. And, in all these Large Corrupt Democrat-Mafia run cities, they have Corrupt Unions of all Government Employees, and thus another voting bloc for the Democrat Machine.

Now, every state is having More and More Socialism Forced on them by the Corrupt Democrat Power Brokers from Large Cities who have more Representation in State and Federal Legislatures.  So, Georgia, by way of Atlanta, has Dominated State Politics and then they Elect Reprsentatives to the U.S. congress, and this scenario is being played out all over the country.  In Alabama, we are conservative state, but the city of Birmingham, the largest city, it mimicks the Large Metro Cities from the North East, Midwest and West Coast.

But, there is a breath of fresh air.  In Alabama, for example, the vast majority of Wage Earners, Property Owners and Businesses are fleeing Birmingham due to the Excessive Taxation and Crime in the Streets and of course, the Regulations that only Apply to the Law Abiding Workers, Property Owners, and Businesses.  Dismantling the Corrupt Democrat Machines in Large Cities is the Answer to Dismantling the Liberal Democrat Corrupt Machine now running the Entire Nation. Flee the Cities for your own Protection and Survival, for when the old perverbial Crap Hits The Fan, these Hotbeds of Crime, Criminals, Subversives and Thieves will be in Total and Complete Chaos as Anarchy prevails.  Even in the best of times, these large metro cities are barely civil and and are generally, unsafe places to be.

The Libs do Deserve To Be Trashed when they Expose Their Dirty Hearts and Minds such as Old Harry Reid expressing the Truth about their Hand Picked Hand Puppet Obama. But, nothing ever really comes of it, as the majority of Lib Dem voters are ignorant and illiterate and do not really know anything about or care anything about politics except for the Parts of the Liberal Democrat Mantra which is "We are going to give you Something For Nothing, and We are Going to Take It Away from The Evil Rich Men and From Evil and Rich Corporations Who Have Made Their Money off the Backs of you Poor Folks, and Now It is Time For you Po Folks to Sit Back and Do Nothing and Let Us, The Lib Democrat Party, Take Care of You, that is as long as you Stooges Keep Voting Us Into Power.

Even your Regular Liberal Democrat Voting Blocs would not have Voted For Obama if they knew he was a Marxist who has Ties with Domestic Terrorists and Hate Groups.

SerpentDove, your post is spot on.  The problem with all Do Gooders, AKA Liberals, AKA Utopians, etc. is that they have Delusional Thinking that comes from their own arrogance and the belief that, Only They, know what is best for everybody else.

Every Utopian Do-Gooder Liberal that I have ever met and have known lives in clutter and has a totally unmanageable life of his or her own, and the reason for this is that they are very depressed because they believe in their Own Delusional Thoughts and Minds, that they Know What is Best For All, and that If the World Would Just listen To Them and Follow Their Ideas and Plans, that the World Would Be Perfect.

These Utopian Do-Gooder Liberals, Who Have Perfection in Their Own Deluded Minds, become Very Depressed, Angry, Hostile and Mean-Spirited when they cannot Just Get Everybody Else To See It The Way That They, Who Know All, see the world, and if they could Just Get The Word Out, that Everybody Would Get On The Band Wagon with them and all would be Wonderful in their Utopian World.

And, that is all the more reason that we need to return to the policy of "mandatory draft" beginning at age 18.  Not only would this get many teens off the streets and out of jails, but it would lower unemployment rates. The highest unemployment rate currently is among teens. And, with a draft, we would not have the problem of "not enough men to make the military run."  And, if women want all this equality in the military and elsewhere, I have no problem with that, with equal access, they will also have Equal Responsibility and Will be included in the Draft. And, if they become pregnant while on duty in combat or elsewhere and are unable to carry out their duties and responsibilities, they be treated the same as any other soldier who purposely injures himself therefore making himself unable or unfit to serve in military operations. Case Closed. I am all for Equality in all areas, including being responsible for successes and failures and when violations are committed, be able to accept the consequences without whining or crying "Sexism".
